First Wave of 2023: Sending Books to Remote Areas, Spreading Love to Dawu

The Taipei International Convention Center invited colleagues to join a philanthropic effort aimed at providing more reading resources for underprivileged rural youth. In May 2023, a total of 285 books were collected. The love and support from everyone led to a remarkable outcome for this book donation campaign.
A dedicated teacher from Dawu Junior High School in Taitung County, who is also a driving force behind reading promotion, enthusiastically responded to our invitation for this event, and the school unanimously agreed to participate. Dawu Junior High School focuses on the holistic development of students and particularly emphasizes reading education, aligning perfectly with the spirit of this activity.
The teacher and students, upon receiving nine boxes of books, expressed heartfelt gratitude and emotion. Apart from presenting thank-you notes, the students also wrote personal messages of appreciation, adding a deeper level of significance to this event.
