Simultaneous Interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation services are available in up to six languages. In addition to 3,000 stationary simultaneous interpretation receivers installed on chairs in the grand ballroom, 700 additional sets of infrared receivers and a dedicated interpretation room are also available for guests.

Barrier-free Access

The South entrance of the Taipei International Convention Center features a welcome driveway and barrier-free access ramp. Professional staff at the hall concierge desk can provide consulting and assistance. The overall area is bright and spacious, fitted with amenities including a breastfeeding room, diaper change table, infirmary, AED, complimentary wheelchair rental, mobile phone & electric wheelchair charging station, and bicycle parking. In addition, to make access easier for people with physical disabilities, various barrier-free features have been deployed in our facilities, including our elevators, bathrooms, drinking fountains, spectator stand, handicapped parking spaces, and a dedicated stage ramp. The Taipei International Convention Center was recognized by the Ministry of Interior as an “outstanding MICE venue” in 2014 and is also certified as a “worry-free venue” by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Parking

The Taipei International Convention Center contains two levels of underground parking, including parking spaces for 386 small vehicles (such as heavy motorcycles). Open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., the parking garage utilizes a fully-automated ticketing system.
